How Rederel Works

Register a device once, then reach it securely from your browser when you need it.

Create and verify your account

Your account links the devices you register with the browser dashboard you use to reach them.

  1. Open the Register page and create your account.
  2. Log in to the Dashboard.
  3. If email verification is requested, choose Verify Email.
  4. Request the PIN sent to your email and enter it in the verification window.

Create a device ID and password

In My Devices, enter an optional device name and choose + ID.

Rederel creates a registration ID and asks you to set the connection password that will be required when that device is accessed.

Keep both values available during setup:
  • Registration ID
  • Connection password

Install Rederel on the device

Download Rederel.exe from your Dashboard and run it on a device you own or are authorized to manage.

On Windows, Rederel.exe uses a single-download setup. First run may request administrator approval so Rederel can install its unattended-access service. This service allows the device to reconnect before login after a restart.

Windows security or reputation warning

Remote-control software can receive additional scrutiny from browsers and endpoint security tools because it can capture the screen and inject keyboard or mouse input. Download Rederel.exe only from rederel.com and review the executable's signature/publisher information when available before allowing it to run.

Link the Agent to your account

Open Rederel.exe on the target device and enter the registration information created in the Dashboard.

  1. Enter the device registration ID.
  2. Enter the connection password when requested.
  3. Keep the relay/server setting at its default unless you are troubleshooting.
  4. Save the configuration and connect.

The Agent opens an outbound connection to Rederel. You do not need to expose an inbound port on your home router.

Connect from the Dashboard

When the device appears Online, select Connect.

The Dashboard asks the central Rederel service which relay currently owns the device and opens the viewer on that relay automatically.

Control

  • View the remote screen.
  • Use mouse and keyboard.
  • Work through the browser without a separate viewer application.

View only

  • Select View before connecting.
  • See the screen without sending normal keyboard or mouse input.
  • Useful when you only need to observe the remote device.

Unattended Windows access

When the Windows service is installed, Rederel can stay reachable when no user is logged in.

  • Reconnect after a Windows restart.
  • View and interact with the Windows lock/login screen.
  • Enter the Windows PIN or password remotely.
  • Continue the same remote-control workflow after login.
  • Handle supported Windows UAC prompts remotely.

These unattended capabilities depend on the Windows service being installed successfully during setup.

Security and responsible use

Install Rederel only on devices you own or are explicitly authorized to manage. Do not share your account credentials or device connection passwords.
